How devastating it must be to leave your home, knowing that flood waters will likely destroy your house, your furniture – your lives will be turned upside down! The video captures a dramatic, just-in-time rescue of a dog that had been tied to the dog house when her owners fled.

It is evident from the exasperated tone of the one guy in the video, that whoever did this wasn’t thinking clearly – at all! What did they think was going to happen to the dog? The Houston Humane Society gave its Facebook followers and update on the dog’s condition – she is safe, fed, and dry!
